the title is not referring to the justin timberlake movie that was almost the exact same as the “no strings attached” ashton kutcher movie. i’m talking about a friend to help get your body looking good. if it leads to other kinds of benefits, well good for you!
these past two weeks one of my best friends and i have been working out together almost every day. it has made my workouts more entertaining and more accountable. no way in hell am i going to be the lazy friend.
keys to finding a good workout buddy include finding someone who has a positive attitude. a previous workout buddy constantly complained about things making me question if i was enjoying myself or not.
also, find someone with a similar schedule. my friend and i sit down on sundays to plan our workout “dates” for the week.
another key to having a great workout buddy is to have someone to make you laugh. you’ll burn extra calories!
food- keep a food journal and exchange it weekly with your buddy, knowing they will see it will make you more aware of what you eat if you know someone will see!
fitness- try these exercises out with your new workout bud!
fun- sit back and relax after all that working out and go check out a movie!
